Rooted in Grace and Community

The Miracle Tree Foundation was born from a simple but urgent question: how can we break the cycle of poverty without breaking families apart? In Sri Lanka, we watched tea and rubber plantation mothers leave their children behind to work in the Middle East, sometimes never returning. In Tanzania, we met disabled children abandoned not because they were unloved, but because their families faced overwhelming barriers to basic services.  In Madagascar, we met street children as young as 4 years old having left their villages for the city scavenging for food.

Sustainable Impact, Real Results

Miracle Tree began with one child and one family, and the mission continues to grow into places that are often overlooked. Today, Miracle Tree Foundation works alongside local communities to nourish children, equip caregivers, and remove the barriers that keep families from thriving—so that every child can look toward a future of dignity, opportunity, and hope.

 FOUNDER – PATRICIA GODLEY

Meet our Founder

In 2017, founder Patricia embarked on her journey in international cooperation. While working in Sri Lanka, Tanzania and Madagascar,  she encountered the miraculous moringa tree. As she delved deeper into its properties, she realized that this plant held answers to the pressing questions that weighed on her heart during her time abroad: Why does poverty persist? Why does malnutrition still exist in today’s world?

Moringa emerged as a missing piece to these challenges.

With a mission to share this nutrient-rich plant with the world while simultaneously fostering economic opportunities in rural communities, by God’s grace, Patricia created Miracle Tree Foundation and LTree Inc.  to create both impact and employment.
